The Walking Dead Survivors. Woodbury posed a great threat to us all at the prison. The Governors relentless attempts to destroy and take what we had, lead me to believe that we had to strike first and thankfully we managed to get in and out of Woodbury with some of the towns residents. Our numbers have doubled, but that doesn't mean we are strong. After the run into King County, we now have more guns and ammo to at least have a fighting chance, but rations of food and other supplies are running thin at the prison. Ranks are forming, role's need filling and voices are being heard throughout the cell block C. I understand now, what it takes to stay alive. A time to fight or die is now upon us, those willing and able bodied will need to be trained and taught how to use a firearm to protect themselves and those whom they call family. The walkers keep on coming, they're relentless in their fight for survival and their fight for food and they see us as the weaker population. We are few in numbers in comparison to the walking dead, but we will not go quietly. Now is the time to fortify the prison and hold our ground, protect ourselves against the Governor who is still out there somewhere and also protect ourselves against the herds that seem to be gathering here outside the prison fences. Its almost like they are calling to their kind, perhaps they can communicate with one another as they seem to be waiting for something... But what? Its been almost two years, since this whole thing started and whatever is going to happen, we will be ready. We've seen too much, lost too many and been through enough to know who to trust among our group. But in these times, loyalties will be tested and lives will be lost we cannot control who lives or dies, all we can do is prepare for it. And if it doesn't feel right, then don't do it. |
